My three poster entries for the Turing Foundation 's Posters for the Planet contest. ✌ Title: Imperfect people wanted.

Description:
The climate is changing. That is a fact. And to avoid suffering too much from this, we all need to change. Companies, governments, but also every individual. Everyone can contribute. Behavioral change is necessary. But that is incredibly difficult. They are called habits for a reason. It is also daunting, but we are in this together!

Which individual behavior has a demonstrated negative effect? And can you change your behavior starting today? Flying, eating meat, and buying new products. Conversations about this with flying, meat, or shopping enthusiasts often get stuck on a counter-reproach. 'But didn't you fly to that wedding the other day too?' or 'As if you're perfect; didn't you buy those new sneakers the other day too?'

That is why I want to advocate against striving for the image of perfection. We are almost all imperfect. This allows everyone to participate, takes away pressure, and hopefully keeps conversations more open. However, we can try to fly less (take the train for a change!), eat less meat (eat vegetarian at least 3 times a week!), and buy less (new items) (check Marktplaats or Vinted first!).

That is going to have a huge positive effect!
